Customising your Micronet Screens

Throughout the modules in the Micronet Advantage Suite, you can customise the display details to suit your business processing requirements. The customisation options include:

removing or disabling master file fields that are not relevant to your customers, products, suppliers, etc. – for example, you could remove the barcode fields from your Inventory master file
changing the fields and/or field sizes that are displayed during partial key searches – for example, displaying a longer part number or larger description than is standard
changing the width or height of an inquiry screen so you can display more details on the screen
changing the fields and/or field sizes that are displayed during some of the transaction processes – for example, displaying the item weight or units on the Invoice Creation screen line by line.

The following topics describe how to make these changes on different types of screens.

Technical Tip

You can only customise Micronet screens if you have the required user security – i.e. the Edit Dialogue Controls option on the Allow Editing of Supervisor Functions screen in your user ID must be ticked (refer to "Maintenance - Edit UserIDs - 1. Main").

A number of Registry settings control whether any changes you make apply only to your own Micronet screens or to the screens of all users.
